Flight Nurse Emergency Medical Service provides pre-hospital care and patient transport from referring health care facilities to secondary/tertiary health care centers. The ideal candidate will be a nurse that is interested in providing quality care to critically ill patients in pre-hospital and areomedical settings. You will be an energetic, positive, patient advocate that loves to work in the fast paced environment of emergency medical services. • Considerable experience in emergency and/or ICU working with ventilated patients. Condition(s) of Employment: Pre-employment medical clearance with TB testing, baseline hearing testing, security clearance and Class 4 driver’s licence. Job Requirements(s): Shift work including weekend and wearing a uniform. A one-year eligibility list will be established from this competition to fill future vacancies for identical positions and may also be used for similar positions within the department.
